Important Shipping Update: Discontinuation of Shipping to EU Countries at YourMagnets

We would like to inform our valued customers about an important update regarding our international shipping destinations at YourMagnets.

Effective immediately, we are permanently discontinuing all direct shipments to EU member states outside of Germany. While this was a very difficult decision to make, we want to be completely transparent about why this step has become necessary for our store.

Why We Are Adjusting Our Shipping Destinations

The European Union has introduced the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which enforces strict Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements across all 27 member states.

Under these rules, online merchants delivering packaged goods to consumers in another EU country must register, fulfill complex reporting metrics, and appoint a certified local “Authorized Representative” in every single destination country—regardless of whether we ship thousands of parcels or just a few per year.

Because there are no reasonable thresholds or exemptions for small and medium-sized businesses, the cumulative fixed administrative fees, licensing costs, and legal bureaucracy for all 27 nations outweigh the feasibility of offering cross-border shipping into the EU. Rather than passing these massive overhead costs on to our customers through inflated prices, we have decided to streamline our operational focus.

What This Means for Your Orders

• Shipments Within Germany: Orders delivered within Germany remain completely unaffected and will continue to be processed and shipped as usual.
• Selected Non-EU Destinations: Deliveries to selected non-EU countries (such as Switzerland, Norway, and Liechtenstein) remain available.
• Existing Orders: Any orders placed prior to this announcement will be fulfilled and dispatched without delay.
